Mission Statement

FACE (For Aids Children Everywhere)

Within the means and resources of FACE, we intend to:

1. Disseminate information to the community
2. Encourage communication between patients and their doctors
3. Do outreach work in the community
4. Provide families with children affected by HIV/AIDS with emergency needs such as formula, food, clothing, furniture and household items
5. Give caregivers and parents of HIV+ children emotional and spiritual support
6. Train HIV+ women to be speakers in their communities
7. Provide recreational outings for children affected by HIV/AIDS
8. Recruit volunteers to do respite care as needed by families with children affected by HIV/AIDS
9. Provide gifts and parties for families with children affected by HIV/AIDS on special occasions such as Christmas, Hanukah, Easter, birthdays, etc.
10. Offer short-term financial assistance to families with children affected by HIV/AIDS
